This is an application designed and developed that allows the operation of a TV decoder from a smartphone.
1. Easy login – Security safe:
This product was designed exclusively for smartphones. After downloading the application to the device, customers can easily register to use it via any mobile number, not necessarily the phone number registered for FPT Internet / Television service. The system will automatically send the OTP via SMS to confirm the phone number registered by the customer.
When OTP is confirmed successfully, customers need to enter the Link Code to connect to the smartphone, and the decoder wants to establish a connection. The link code is a random number, changed every 5 minutes, located in Menu / Device Connection. This process will help customers manage smartphones that are allowed to link with their decoder to increase safety during use.
In the new version, FPT Television also allows a mobile phone number connected to a maximum of 20 decoders. The feature that provides convenience for customers is the accommodation business units such as hotels, motels using FPT Television service. Besides, a decoder is also linked to up to 4 phone numbers, supporting households with many members using the service.
2. Modern interface – Convenient operation:
The most considerable improvement of the FPT TV Remote 2021 app is the user's interface. After successfully logging in and linking the decoder, the app's home page will display when the customer accesses the app.
This year's version visually integrates major FPT Television categories at the homepage, including Watching movies (corresponding to category Films), Entertainment, Children, Live, Sports, and TV channels. (corresponding to the TV section), etc. Thus, with just an action, customers can immediately access the variety and unique entertainment content store of FPT Television, quickly find the program they want or conveniently enjoy your favourite TV channel with nearly 200 options. FPT TV Remote provides search function by alphabet filter (TV channel) or by search toolbar for each category.
Besides, on the home page interface, customers quickly access new integrated features such as searching, exploring, information, and virtual remote. The Search section provides a search toolbar, helping users efficiently access the desired content according to the system's keywords and suggestions.
This toolbar is linked to the search engine in each category, such as Movie, Entertainment, Sports, to maximize search results according to demands. This item has been synchronized with the content data warehouse of FPT Television and Foxy. The Discovery section offers suggestions and recommendations on the latest program or movie that is most interested in FPT Television service, based on customers' viewing habits. The information section helps users to manage primary content about the application, accounts, or linked decoders.
The virtual remote is a notable feature and newly developed in version 2021. Accessing this item, users will have access to a virtual remote, designed similar to the physical controller that comes with the solver FPT TV 4K FX6 code, divided into the navigator and numeric key operate comfortably on the application directly. The Virtual Remote also provides a Touchpad function, giving users a sense of convenience when using the touchpad, moving and choosing categories.
