In Hanoi, on July 23rd, 2018, FPT Television officially announced the media copyright for The Italian Football Champions (Serie A) in 3 consecutive seasons from 2018 to 2021. This is an effort to bring Vietnamese audiences the most prestigious football league in the world on FPT Television.
Accordingly, FPT Television owns the entire media copyright for the Serie A (all 380 games per season, 10 games per round) in 3 seasons from 2018-19, 2019-20 to 2020-21. At the same time, FPT Television also announced the ownership of media copyright for The Football Association Challenge Cup (FA Cup) in 3 consecutive seasons from 2018 to 2021.
