FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom) has just been voted as the “Typical ADSL & FIBER high-speed fixed Internet service quality provider”.
This title was announced by Vietnam International Data Group (IDG) and Vietnam Digital Media Association (VDCA) after a survey to assess the level of satisfaction of consumers on mobile broadband Internet service provider - MBP and high-speed fixed Internet service provider - ADSL and fiber. The survey was conducted from January 1 to March 27 in 8 provinces and cities with more than 5,000 surveys sent out.
This result reflects the service quality, serving attitude and the speed of Internet service transmission (including ADSL and Fiber) of FPT Telecom. In the past few years, FPT Telecom has continuously implemented programs to increase bandwidth and speed up the transmission line. Most recently in January, FPT Telecom has increased the speed of fiber optic Internet connection by 30% with unchanged rates. This is an annual effort to provide customers with more and more benefits.
In 2017, FPT Telecom has launched the SOC 1 Gbps high-speed Internet service package
Besides, FPT Telecom is also known as the first telecom enterprise to own the fastest speed Internet service named SOC 1 Gbps (transmission speed up to 1,024 Mbps equivalent to 128 MB per second), allowing users to download a full HD-1080 movie in 1 or 2 minutes, or well supporting the use of cloud storage platforms, uploading large-capacity documents, accessing 4K video content, virtual reality (VR), and games, etc.
From the beginning of Vietnam Internet, FPT Telecom did differently when it launched ADSL packages with prices equivalent to 10-40% of the previous ones. It is also a pioneer in exploiting high-speed Internet services with fiber optic connection (FTTH) with download speeds of 10 gigabits per second, 200 times faster than ADSL 2+ (20 megabits per second). These actions of FPT contributed to the trend of healthy movement and competition in the Internet market, stimulating Internet users to increase nearly 7 times in 5 years, from 2003 to 2008.
This title once again demonstrated the Internet user community's recognition of FPT Telecom in its journey of providing and enhancing customer experience.
