FPT Telecom received the title Digital Transformer of The Year

FPT Telecom has become the first and only Vietnamese enterprise to receive the title Digital Transformer of The Year in the 2016 Asia Pacific Telecommunications Award System of IDC.

On November 11, 2016, at the Asia Pacific Telecom Summit Awards (ATSA) held in Singapore, FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom) became the first and only Vietnamese enterprise to receive the title Digital Transformer of The Year.
 
The award presented by the International Data Corporation (IDC) is a part of the 2016 Asia Pacific Telecommunications Conference which took place on November 10 and 11, 2016 in Singapore.
 
The Digital Transformer of The Year is one of five titles awarded by ATSA for the purpose of evaluating and commending FPT Telecom's preparation for the process of providing telecommunications services and approaching the trend of international integration, especially the ability to predict the market to commercialize telecommunications services.
 
At the awarding event, Mr. Hoang Trung Kien - Deputy General Director of FPT Telecom said: “We are very proud that for the first time, a Vietnamese telecommunications company was awarded this title. The Digital Transformer of The Year award is a testament to the ongoing transformation of FPT Telecom by launching more and more modern products and services and best serving the existing needs of customers. Moreover, FPT Telecom also welcomed the trend of using telecommunications, technology and digital services of Vietnamese users. This is the commitment of FPT Telecom during the past 20 years of connection and efforts to bring users more values in life”.
 
ATSA 2016 awarded five major titles to Asian telecommunications businesses including: Digital Service Provider of the Year, Digital Transformer of the Year, Excellence in Customer Service, Best Telco-OTT Partnership of the Year and Most Disruptive Business Model. Thereby, ATSA recognizes the efforts and results that companies have achieved, including: The implementation of competitive differentiation; Invention of new product services and Expanding access to potential markets.

At this event in 2015, many famous names in the telecommunications, technology and digital industries of the region were honored such as India’s Tata Sky (Best Video Offering), India’s Bharti Airtel (Country Innovation Award), Australia's Telstra (Most Innovative Consumer Offering), Japan's NTT (Most Innovative Enterprise Offering) and Singapore's Singtel (Service Provider of the Future).
