On December 11, 2019, which is also known as the Internet Day, Vietnam Internet Association (VIA) officially launched the Vietnam Cloud Computing and Data Center Club (VNCDC).
Vietnam Cloud Computing and Data Center Club includes 12 founding members. Besides the VIA, the VNCDC has 11 founders, who represent businesses in the fields of cloud computing and data centers, including FPT International Telecom Company Limited (FTI), VNG Joint Stock Company, Viettel-CHT Company Limited, CMC Telecommunication Infrastructure Joint Stock Company (CMC Telecom), Nhan Hoa Software Company Limited, Z.com Joint Stock Company, Viettel Net Company, VNPT IT Company, NetNam Joint Stock Company, HTC International Telecommunication Joint Stock Company, and iNET Software Company Limited.
The VNCDC is aimed to promote the development of cloud computing and data centers in Vietnam and support building a healthy and competitive environment. Furthermore, the Club will support its’ members to improve their capacity, knowledge and strengthen the cooperation in the fields of cloud computing and data centers.
The Club also made several specific tasks for its’ members: research, proposal and implementation of solutions in order to develop cloud computing and data centers market in Vietnam; contribute opinions to build government policies, standards, regulations, testing and assess cloud and data center services.
FTI provides data center services and solutions of its’ top data centers that meet all international standards, such as Uptime Tier III Constructed Facility, ISO 9001: 2015; ISO 50001: 2011; ISO 27001: 2013; ISO 27017: 2015. FTI is also known as a cloud services provider, including its’ FPT HI GIO CLOUD – the comprehensive product of cooperation between FPT Telecom and IIJ Japan. With the market experience of FTI and advanced cloud technology of IIJ, FPT HI GIO CLOUD is made to meet the growing demand of businesses in Vietnam. In the upcoming future, FPT HI GIO CLOUD will launch more new advanced features such as auto scaling, object storage, traffic manager, etc.
